It's a difficult assignment to photograph black electronic audio equipment
next to shiny reflective surfaces like compact discs and stainless steel.
The brightness range is typically beyond the abilities of film to capture
a full range of tonal values. No one exposure can capture it all. This solution
involved changing the lighting on each category of objects without changing
the layout or moving the camera. Then the series of photos are composited
together for their different effects to create a new whole image.
